About Mr Rolton
Dan Rolton is an international fellowship trained spinal surgeon with over a decade of experience in adult spinal surgery. He completed his specialist training in Oxford and New Zealand before being appointed as a consultant at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading. His practice is focused on adult spinal conditions. He has a special interest in degenerative conditions of the spine resulting in back pain, nerve pain, sciatica, stenosis and spondylolisthesis. His NHS work also involves managing acute conditions affecting the spine such as tumour, infections and trauma.
Mr Rolton has trained in Trauma and Orthopaedics and has an excellent understanding of musculoskeletal conditions which can interact with the spine and result in similar problems.
Mr Rolton aims to empower his patients through accurate diagnosis and investigations so they can make informed decisions about their treatment. He believes in delivering the right treatment for the right patient at the right time.
Dan Rolton is the clinical director for private patients, Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. He has worked as the clinical lead for the Thames Valley Spine Network. He has presented and published internationally on spinal surgery.
Mr Rolton is married to Camilla and lives in the Reading area. He enjoys tennis, golf, running and supporting his two sons’ rugby teams.
