Mr Dan Rolton was excellent. He listened to my explanation of the problem carefully, organised an MRI scan immediately. He subsequently explained the results of the scan and idenfified the problem. His pre and post op care was excellent, as was the operation, a remarkedly small scar left

I had suffered with very bad sciatica pain for 6 months, not able to sleep longer the 2 hours per night and even being on a beautiful holiday (that I should have been able to enjoy) but wanting to go home every minute due to the severe pain and exhaustion from the disc protrusion. I was very anxious about the surgery (I was worry about the risks and recovery as being mum of two little ones). Dr Rolton was immensely professional at every consultation and very patiently listened to me together with explaining clearly the procedure (microdiscectomy). He successfully treated my injury on L5/S1 and post the surgery I have been able to live my life again to how it was. He was very empathic, which makes you feel you are in very good hands and would absolutely recommended him.

Mr Rolton has performed L4/5 microdiscectomy and i am very pleased to have him as my surgeon and my experience has been very great with him starting from initial consultancy until the discharge. He is very straight forward and honest which is good during the times to make a decision. My only suggestion would be if he can spent little bit more time with the patient during the decision making process for the treatment, patients do their home work but they still want to hear some assuring words from doctor:). i would definitely recommend him to any patient looking help with their spine related issues.

Mr Rolton diagnosed a vertebral facet joint cyst causing pressure on a nerve and causing severe pain in my left leg. He explained the options clearly and was happy to agree . to my preference of a less invasive option first , although he warned me it was unlikely to be successful. When it was unsuccessful he did a spinal decompression , explaining all the possible complications.The result was perfect, the pain in the leg went immediately , and the back soon healed with no complications. Couldn’t be happier as I am now doing everything I did before. I would definitely recommend him .
